Bibiana is a registered Early Childhood Educator both in Hong Kong and Australia. Apart from her passions in ECE, she holds a B.A. in Visual Art (First Honor) from the Hong Kong Baptist University and is pursuing her final year of M.A. in Art Therapy at Western Sydney University. She endeavored to use art as a vehicle to support individuals’ holistic well-being in terms of their psychological and physical challenges through active artmaking. Bibiana is a trainee art therapist in the Liverpool Hospital as regards her ongoing research on the implementation of eco-art therapy in palliative care settings. She aimed to explore the transformative and therapeutic power found in natural materials, to support patients who are battling in their terminal stage. Apart from regular art therapy, she also promotes the art legacy projects to capture and honor the life stories and narratives of clients during their last days. Through the means of art, those memories will be contained permanently in an art form, in preparing and navigating the journey of grief and bereavement for the families and caregivers. As a plant lover, she was also certified in Horticultural Therapy back in 2017.

Bibiana works in a great spectrum with young children from age 2-6 as well as the end of life; such experience has impacted her personal art practice as a visual artist to constantly re-examine the perspectives on life and death through nature materials. Her works integrate elements of botanic materials, smells, sounds, images, and installations. With her sensibility with nature, emotions, and memories of all mankind, she intends to incorporate Art and botanical elements as an agent to rediscover the relationship of symbiosis, as well as the visceral part of oneself through the perception of daily life and the circulation of nature.
